ETAP Hotels

ETAP Hotel is part of the Accor Group. With more than 460 hotels in 15 countries around the world, ETAP Hotel is the leading budget hotel chain in Europe.
Hotel guests frequently require taxis and other services like local transport routes and times, airport information, tourist information and emergency healthcare. To free up front desk staff and allow them to concentrate on check-in and check-out, ETAP Glasgow installed an InfoPoint6-Line Help Point in the hotel lobby. Following the success of this installation, Help Points are being rolled out to other hotels in the group including Southampton, Barking and Derby.
The Birmingham hotel has also installed a Help Point in its reception area and a smaller desk freephone for the use of reception staff. The hotel has found the Help Points extremely useful, especially in busy times.
In the first 10 days, the Help Point was used over 450 times saving more than 22 hours of staff time and a considerable amount in call charges.
